Being organic is consistent with "nature's way" - eating with the seasons, avoiding artificial growth promoters, supporting animal welfare, allowing natural biology to play out. Nice story from the USA, where a group of local gardeners with a spirit of fun and an eye for beauty are growing far more than vegetables, including 'lawn furniture' made from hay bales covered with grass seed!
“We believe strongly in organic produce and the health and well-being of the community. We hope more organic farms catch on,” said one.

A previously skeptical doctor has come around to the benefits of organic food, concluding that Organic food saves bowel bacteria.
Dr Mark Donohoe, a Sydney GP with a special interest in environmental medicine.says that many agricultural pesticides are lethal to good bacteria in the bowel.
