Rockmelon
Rockmelon as we know it is also known as cantaloupe and musk melon.
Rockmelons are related to honeydews, watermelons, cucumbers squashes and pumpkins. They are usually round with firm, scaly, greyish green buff rind skin. Some Rockmelons have grooves and sutures, that orbit the rockmelon.
Rockmelons all have lovely, moist, sweet orange flesh. The flesh surrounds the seeds that are in the centre.
Nutrition Benefits
Rockmelons are a good source of Vitamin A and C. Half a 5 inch fruit is about 80 calories. Rockmelons are sold fresh.
