Baked Ginger Pumpkin Ingredients
organic jap pumpkin
organic butter salt, pepper
brown sugar

Baked Ginger Pumpkin Method
Peel and cut pumpkin into serving size pieces. Place in salted boiling water and cook until tender (or steam for 20 mins – this retains the nutrients better than boiling). Drain. Grease a shallow overproof dish with a little butter and arrange pumpkin in the dish. Season with salt and pepper. Scatter butter pieces over the top. Sprinkle with brown sugar and ginger (optional). Bake at 190 degrees Celsius for 1.5 hours, basting occasionally.
